Vezina Trophy Prediction

The Vezina Trophy goes to the league's best goalie. Last year, Igor Shesterkin of the New York Rangers was far and away the best goalie in the league and the year prior was Marc-Andre Fleury of the Vegas Golden Knights, but now with the Minnesota Wild. The goalie position in the NHL has become the deepest it has been in a long time and with so much young talent taking over in the league, it has to be. A lot of teams are moving in the direction of having goalie tandems instead of having one that takes the lion's share of starts. With that being said, the goalie that comes to mind when I think lion's share of starts is Nashville Predator's goalie, Juuse Saros. Saros has been extremely impressive in the past 2 years with rosters that have been less than stellar for the Preds. This year with a healthy and improved lineup, the sky is the limit for Saros. He has the ability to steal games for Nashville any given night against any opponent, and this will be the year he is finally recognized for it. Saros got hurt last season right before playoffs which then led to Nashville being swept in the first round. Saros to win the Vezina is currently +900 and I love this play and line.
